All of us at The Printed Image love print – and the power of print. Emails and social media are great, but how good does it feel to receive physical, tangible mail addressed to you? That’s why we can’t praise our customised invitations enough. These guys have been seriously underrated in the last few years, but their popularity is on the up! Don’t miss the trend.
From product offers and new line launch, to a business milestone celebration; use them as event invitations, thank you cards, and announcement carriers – they are just so versatile. How many bloggers have you seen opening packages on Instagram Stories, where the card was zoomed in on the product? When you're looking for viral, message delivery is key.
If you have a design ready to be printed, uploading it to our website couldn't be easier. If you need to create an artwork to shout about your exciting news, check out our free online editor and design your own invitations from a blank canvas.
We offer three types of paper to choose from, multiple lamination options, and a free envelope available on plenty of colours, so you are sure to send invitation cards that guarantee your message and brand stand out.

Yep, a blank envelope will be sent with every invitation card – simply pick the colour when placing your order.
Nope. The cards are printed similarly to a postcard, single or double-sided.
We offer three types of paper. Our standard paper is a 350gsm silk stock which is a thick card that gives your greeting card that stable feel. The premium material is 300gsm Sirio Pearl Ice White, a thick material with a beautiful white shade. You can also choose the recycled option, which is a 350gsm Freelife Cento.
You can choose to have gloss lamination – where a shine and glossy coating is applied to your design making colours very vibrant; or a matt lamination, where a matt coating is applied. You can also choose to have no lamination.
Please send us your design in CMYK colour mode. If your files are in RGB or Pantone, our system can convert it to CMYK for you – but keep in mind that colours may be slightly altered.
To avoid any white edges on your design, it’s important that your background colour or image expands past the cut line. Usually, a border of 3mm from the cut line (all around) is enough.
Resolution is a way to determine how many dots your artwork has. The more dots, the more defined the print. To get your design to look sharp, your files must be at least 300dpi. Learn more about how to check your file resolution in our blog post.
We accept files in PDF, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. Please send one file with two pages, if your invitation is double-sided. One page with the design to be printed on the front and the other page for the design of the back.
